I mean, Console people have a lot of nerve...

They have EVERY advantage possible with the Aim Assist.. And yet they STILL use those hardware cheats that Ricochet doesn't detect..

It's easy to recognize the Console cheaters.. They are they ones who go prone right as they are firing..

Their cheats are so blatant and obvious.. They are not even trying to hide them...

Really sucks....
 
At least being PC ONLY, the PC cheaters stand a decent chance of being caught and banned...

With the Console players, they can cheat with impunity and nothing can be done to them..

Is there any place to bitch and moan about things where the game makers will actually see it?? I hate to fill up COD Forums with all my whinings and bitchings.. :D
 
From what I have been able to piece together, it's REALLY bad..

There is a hardware device you can plug into a console that is completely undetectable by RICOCHET... It allows the Console player to, with a single trigger pull, aim, lock-on head of enemy, and either crouch and shuffle to a side or go prone, all in an instant... How can anyone on a PC compete with that??

There is simply no way that a PC player can compete with Console players... PC players should be given the same ability to combo-key bind...
 
COD has never tried stopping game manipulation. Other platforms have and probably suffered from it. COD says they have things in place to prevent it but I've never seen it work.
 
I'm a console player PS5 , I haven't and won't buy MW2 and the Cronus kids epidemic is number 3 on my list for reasons why.
Not sure about the XBox but pretty sure Cronus won't work on the current gen PS5 because controllers get updated along with the console.
Hopefully when they actually get around to developing for PC and current gen only it won't be possible to use 3rd party hardware.
Numbers 1and 2 on my not buying because of list are SBMM and lobbies dispanding
 
I am a console player but I am a purist. I like to play the game with skill not hardware advantages. So I agree with you I can't stand playing against people that use that Cronus. It sucks for us that like to play the game and have fun. I CAN'T WAIT TILL THEY PUT IN THE OPTION TO TURN OFF CROSS PLAY. They have that option on PS but not for Xbox or PC.

I dont think Activision give a shit, they are too busy counting the money:)

I agree once again.. Whats the point in saying anything here if devs can't see this? I want to know where they actually camp and hide so we can be heard.
 
They'll be watching all social media , a billion $ franchise will have dedicated social media watchers
Only way they hear you though is to vote with your wallet!
 
it's weird seeing pc peeps complain --- been hearing console users complain for years about pc people.

i did not, however, realize that the drop shotter people are using modded controllers -+- i hate them and i hate jumpers. -- i also dont like flat out saying people are cheaters but i cant count how many times someone in mid air has domed me from half a map away
 
I've been playing since Black Ops, bought it for my PS3. Through every other series I've played, Ghosts, BO2, ADV WF all had hacks before cross play became a thing. Back in the day, that took some effort, jailbreaking a PS3 or Xbox was a risky proposition. The funny thing about WZ when it dropped, you saw mostly PC players and console players were making the exact same argument your making now. I will not cast the first stone, for reasons that may incriminate me, but I just reserved the fact to this is how it is. At least Activision acknowledges it's a problem now, were they always denied it before, or downplayed the number of players using "little helpers" I think they are trying, but not dedicating a lot of their resources to it because they know what COD junkies we are. Try to use tactics that trip them up, can't really bum rush a squad with ESP and a 2D radar. That Cronus Zen biggest feature is the nullification of recoil, I've seen some scripts, and they do give a player a good advantage, but you can duplicate that on PC with some scripting of your own. Most gaming mice offer it in the software. In the end, the truth is, playing with cheaters forces you to be a better player. Sure you will never develop the skill to plot the fewest number of pixels to center mass in real time, but it will get you better at aiming, tactics, map awareness, ect. so that when you drop into a clean lobby of casual players, you will look like a god and they will accuse you of cheating! Right? I'm actually looking at getting a cheap version of these controllers from Amazon that have buttons instead of paddles. The unfair edge they get annoys tf outta me... so since I can't beat them, I gotta join them. Ha.
