is there a bug with weapon xp drop rates?

not sure if anyone else is seeing this. But I'm noticing weapon xp is being handed out painfully slowly.



I'm about to prestige, and I haven't unlocked all the attachments for a single gun yet. And I pretty much use 2 exclusively.
