as above, the playing now button just stops and goes back to play. my game wont start. i have uninstalled, deleted and full format. any ideas please? tyia

First some info on my pc:

Intel core ultra 7 265k

Asus z890 f Bios (1501)

Corsair Dominator 32gb 7200mhz

Asus RTX 4070 ti super. (572.60)

Windows 11 24H2 26100.3194

I have tried:

scanned and repaired

Deleted cache and %program data% files

Uninstalled battlenet and game

Reinstalled and redownloaded game

Tried installing on seperate hdd

Formatted windows 11 and tried with just nvidia drivers. (no microsoft account linked)

Installed different version of windows

Downgraded gfx drivers

Factory reset modem

Tried another modem

Run as administrator with compatibility mode win 7

Disabling all firewall

No matter what I do even with a fresh windows it says playing now, then just stops showing the play button.

Is it possible that my hardware has been banned for some reason?

Any other troubleshooting advice is appreciated.

Thank you.

Nathan.

I doubt that you have been hardware banned as you should have or would have seen a notice to that effect plus they would have sent an email to your registered email account.

Since you have completely reformatted your drive and you may as well go ahead and make sure that all the updates and firmware files are updated as well. DirectX should be checked too. Motherboard settings and firmware should also be updated and checked.

Thanks for your reply, after 7 days me pulling my hair out and doing everything i can think of. and with battlenet/activision not caring. i thought i'd post the fix for others.

XMP and BO6 was the problem. its crap turning xmp off but atleast the game loads now.

Thanks again
