Will knee slide be performed the same way as dolphin dive?

Will knee slide be performed the same way as dolphin dive? I want to know because if it is I might need to switch to tactical

From the way it looks, the animation looks different. But in theory, the actual action will act similarly. The problem I have with dolphin dive is the fact that when I intended to crouch, it dives anyway. Hopefully this isn't the case with Infinity Ward's slide.

Since there is no gain in buttons to press this year I would presume that it would be performed the same way.
