Well, TitanFall isn't that "I thought of this first!" game. There's a series called....
Wait for it....
Unreal Tournament.
TitanFall is derived from two ideals: An Open-World-ish (it seems like open world, but it has a proverbial shield to prevent you from going outside the sandbox - this is called 'arena shooter'), and mech gameplay (we've had a lot of mech games over the last 10, 20 years). One of the ideas were borrowed from Call of Duty: Those mechs replaced killstreaks. Likewise, killstreaks was borrowed from Unreal Tournament's Multikill system; you had a streak going, you were rewarded with a commentator's voice across the game, and then you were also rewarded with a mech, or another game-winning kill.
I like Black Ops 3's whole premise, the problem is the community is ruining the whole thing. Spawn Trapping is a huge problem in the community, and when you merge it with a small map like the ones in BO3 Beta, you will have frustrating experiences. This has been in the community since MW3. People will exploit the spawn point(s) to get their way into the top 3 rankings. They think that doing so will make them look like a good player, but in reality, they were exploiting something that wasn't designed to be exploited.
I do think we need larger maps, especially for team modes like Domination, Team Deathmatch, or any one of those matches that requires going to 'A' flag or bomb. Demolition in my opinion is perfect for small maps, too.
I liked the BO3 beta, it's just that these things need to be fixed in the final game. I gave up playing a lot of the beta, because of the problems that I have with it.
