Voice chat ban!

Was looking for any help on this topic as it wont let me submit a ticket, i received a 14 day ban today fpr a voice chat violation in multiplayer, the funny thing is the only game ive played today is zombies and that was in a private group with my daughter!
Did i cuss and swear with her in our private chat, most likely, but not at anyone and again it was only me and her. so any help to this topic would be great. FYI, i have never received a ban or anything like that in any CoD game.

I have been banned from voice chat 3 times. I'm a 75-year-old Vietnam combat Vet. This bullshit the snowflake developers have never been in combat, WE SWEAR IN COMBAT. I own every MW and COD game, been playing for years but will not buy COD lll unless they quit this chat banning. This is getting pretty close to a free speech issue. How can you harass a person on a video game? They will find out that players don't like developers spying on us players who paid full price for their game.
 
On DMZ some people are bored with scavaging and missions, so all they do is hunt other players. Last my team was wiped out just after spawning in all, 3 men's teams all snipers camping the spawn or your dead body. I like to play solo but it is almost impossible. They need to make a solo-only mode.
 
So judging by the amount of comments I’m not the only one getting shadow banned for no reason. I am currently playing in a game with my sister in-law with ALL OTHER PLAYERS MUTED and yet I get hit with a bullshit chat ban if this lame ass infringement of my constitutional right to freedom of speech continues I think this game and it’s developers are going to have a serious court battle with a shit ton of law suits for infringing or right TO FREEDOM OF SPEECH I suggest the devs stop spying on players and mind their fucking business and keep these snowflakes off the game I’m am Utterly disgusted in the fact that you are even willing to infringe the rights of Americans let alone those and paid full price for your bullshit game better tighten the shit up or you might lose a lot of customers and a lot of Fanbase. You people make sick Biden supporting pussies. TRUMP 2024 this is not making America great again.

I got hit with a three day ban out of thin air I only play with friends and family and they all talk the same as I do so yes we cuss and swear and now it’s to the point we are having our constitutional rights to freedom of speech infringed upon I do feel that if it continues I’ll be among one of the first to start a law suit against the developers for the infringement
 
LOL, I cant believe that people are resorting to pulling the Constitutional Rights card! Unpucker your butt and simply stop playing the game if it is really shitting all over your rights. Im not against swearing and shit as I can swear with the fucking best of them. Maybe it is the words and context of your words that are infringing upon others and their constitutional rights. Good luck with that law suit though but I wont be supporting any such class action suit. You will have more luck pissing into the wind and not getting any blow back on you.

I don't need a multi-million dollar company to infringe on my rights. I paid full price for their game I should be able to play as I like. The in-game narrator swears now and then. guess you haven't been chat band yet. Next, they will mostly pick the mode you can only play in.
 
First off, I thank you for your service to your country. My son served as well so I understand your views on patriotism and all that goes along with what you and many others were defending.

What many people forget while purchasing a game is that you are only purchasing a license to play said game. The EULA lays out exactly what this means and is a legal document and declaration. You and I and everyone else do not OWN the game that we paid money for. Yes, we can all play the game as we like. Neither one of us is a cupcake or snowflake. There is swearing in the game and I am fine with that as obviously people swear in real life.

We all knew that the chat monitoring/banning mechanism was in place when we bought the game so we were in no way mislead. When I heard of this and the explanation behind it I understood it was to reduce or eliminate racial slurs which are separate from just ordinary vanilla swearing. Ingame either in a public server or playing in a party with friends still does not protect anyone from crossing the line of what has been deemed "unacceptable" and I for one am fine with that. In real life I don't go around calling people demeaning names nor do I even allude to the heritage, race, color nor sexual orientation, etc of others in real life. So why in the world would this sort of behaviour be tolerated in the virtual world? We are hidden from one another and do not have to face the ramifications of our actions in what ever form that takes. It may sound corny but words can and do cause more damaged than most people think.

You use the word "I" in your comments to voice your stand on this. "I should be able to play as I like." You like many people are only concerned about your self and your rights. You also mentioned that you served to protect those rights. I have to question what rights were you actually protecting. Yours only or the whole of the United States. Every person who buys the game has rights. Most players simply want to play and don't need the ridiculous slandering and smack talking that goes with the game chatter. No one appears awesome by calling others niggers and whatever else spews out of some players mouths. Anyone who gets shadow banned or permenantly banned generally deserve it as far as I am concerned.

This is a public forum and like most forums like this it is a great place to state your opinon, views or simply to vent and rant. I do get where people are coming from and it is only natural that people want to and like to slam the big money making corporations such as Activision.

First, let me start with, You may find 3 people who actually read the EULA. I say chat monitoring was actually placed in DMZ mode. Quote, "It may sound corny but words can and do cause more damage than most people think" if someone is getting their feelings hurt, they have the option to turn off the chat. Quote, "I have a question what rights were you actually protecting". Maybe you ask your son that question. I have not used any racial slurs. I was chat banned first for 14 days, then 30 days for words like Asshole, loser, etc etc. You mention permanently banned, which is ridiculous, they will have to give out refunds. I have heard many times black players calling one another niggers do they get chat banned? I like playing DMZ mode. Can they band spawn campers that as soon as you enter the game they swoop down like a flock of vultures, kill me, and keep coming back to my dead body shooting me over and over again, jumping up and down on my dead body, losers that have nothing better to do but just kill other players. At least I have a little bit of humanity, I will always revive a solo player. Their software for chat banning is faulty. I own all the COD, Black Ops, and MW games but I will not buy COD 3 if they keep this BS up. I'll move on to other FPS. DMZ is an intense game mode reactions are going to flair up more than any other mode. If the developers have been in real combat they would understand DMZ is an emotional game. I have more to say but this is good for now.

I definitely understand where you’re coming from. I received a 14 day when shooting the breeze with my guys…. All of which are active duty or veterans.
 
Ok, it's ok to have disagreements, but I will not have people attacking each other. Let this be a verbal warning. I'm the boss here.

Next person with incendiary attacks towards another person, especially a Veteran - will get a suspension.
 
Probably every type of occupation has people that play this game and that includes veterans. To me when ingame we are all MW3 players and nothing else. I dont care what these people do or have done in real life. I am a retired tractor trailer driver if any one cares but I dont pull that into a conversation and how I should be listened to because of my current or past careers.

But I will pull my lifelong career into this by stating that though I wasnt a veteran I was quite capable of swearing with the best of them and in a couple of languages too. Big fucking deal right? I thank all service men active or retired for their service but that is where it ends. I are playing a game that has some obviously distinct and enforced "RULES OF ENGAGEMENT" The veterans most likely have heard this term at some point and also should understand by know that breaking said rules has consequences.

You are loosely using a term that has barely any context when it comes to gaming. But sure continue responding just to be right. Guys like you have to have the last word even when they obviously were attacking another person for stating their own opinion.
 
1969 I was recruited by the 5th Special Forces, Special Operations group out of Can Tho, Vietnam. My 3 man team was flown out to an SF Firebase at the base of Nui Coto Mountain, near the border of Cambodia. My team was nighttime operators, we would leave the base at dawn and return at daybreak. Our only rules of engagement were to destroy any VC patrols resupplying the mountain without prejudice. We operated 14 hours a night 24/7. We would leave the Firebase under darkness and return at daybreak. As dangerous as it was we didn't lose one team member during the whole operation. If interested go to this link for the operation.
