Why not take a minute to I was just browsing around treyarch.com when i noticed their jobs section, one post in the section - Treyarch > Jobs - is for a Level Builder for Call of Duty.
Out of 5 key responsibilities, the one that stuck out to me is 'Research subject matter for history and look of the level' which i guess definitely sets the next Call of Duty title somewhere in the past, as was expected.
I'll be keeping my eyes on the job board, to see if there are any more clues.
