Ninja Perk

Ok, so I noticed when I logged on today (09/29) a brief update. Did this "Update" affect the Ninja Perk? The reason I ask was yesterday when I ran around; I did not sound like Frankenstein stepping around like I had hores shoes on. Today with the Ninja Perk still active, that's what I sound like running around in-game. And if this is the case, why have the Ninja Perk no longer serve its function. Also, on the same note, I found three more classes to pick from that I never created. What's going on there?
