New DLC: Uprising Announced

Well, they just announced another DLC, including 4 multiplayer maps (including a Firing Range remake) and a new zombies mode.

A bit disappointed they are still trying to make MORE DLC while ignoring the obvious lag and hit detection issues. Probably why I won't be buying the DLC. I found the first DLC to be only okay, and I have fun playing the original maps anyways.

I don't play Black Ops 2 much, so I most definitely won't be getting it, but it looks like they just want more and more money. They should fix all the game issues instead of making DLC.

The only thing they can do about the lag issue is to disable lag compensation, which simply wont happen. Beyond that, only dedicated servers can fix our problems. This will be as true on PS4 as it is on ps3 and Activision simply will not do the right thing and srping for the necessary data center because you'll buy it anyway.

I'm hoping this is actually firing range though. It looks like just a little part of firing range is being used as a "cameo" set piece in the level, which sucks. I want the whole map. I want Summit too.

Looks pretty decent, I'm excited in particular about the Firing Range-esque map haha, that was one of the best Black Ops maps in my opinion.

But... I probably wont be buying it. Now, if they fix the lag and hit detection issues, that's another matter ...

TBH they have took it a bit too far with the lava going through the map also its about time they brought out a new map pack. Last time with black ops 1 a map pack out every month almost.

I was thinking the same with the lava. I understand this is a more futuristic game, but lava seems rather primitive...and a bit unreasonable haha.

Lava would be really dumb, and I hope it's not gonna be as bad I think it's gonna be. Anyways, looks like we'll have to wait to find out!

Nuketown is just defacto everyone's favorite map.

But yes, firing range was a very close second for me. I find some Call of Duty games I play very well in and others I really struggle with. Black Ops was one I struggled with and pretty badly so. Firing Range, Nuketown and Summit offered brief respites for me. I seemed to just inately understand how to exploit those maps and I know I'm not alone. In a game with (in my little opinion) iffy map design, these three were just great. Any inclusion of any of these maps into Black Ops II will rip my wallet right out of my pocket.

These maps are simply awesome! I liked them all but specially Encore and, of course, Studio. I liked the design of Encore, it concentrates the action into a specific area which can make things pretty interesting, in my opinion. It's also a stadium, a setting that is not very used in FPS's! Studio bringing back Firing Range with a fresh new face is amazing, I like what they did with the same layout only completely new visually! Uprising looks good!
