MW III WARZONE Plunder. First Thoughts

Sucks that I have to start with a basic loadout.. But one game allowed me to choose my own load.. Was pleasantly surprised to see all my weapons from DMZ were available.. I had to recreate my custome weapons but that wasn't too big a deal...

Gameplay was like UNREAL TOURNAMENT.. Very fast and run and gun.. Was killed in my first meet with a QUAD Team.. I Gods I still hate teams..

DMZ was about engaging targets.. Have to get out of that mindset and concentrate solely on obtaining loot..

Have to cut this review short..

After my first game of PLUNDER, it disappeared from the options.. Not available anymore..

OK Found PLUNDER again.. You have to scroll down to FEATURED and then clicking on that takes you to the screen where PLUNDER is available..

So, second game..

CHOPPERS!!! They have those beautiful and fun choppers.. Takes 3 hits to destroy them, so they are not TOO buff'ed up.. And they respawn so that's a huge plus.. Have to wait til C-4 is unlocked before I can further test that..

Movement is soo much like Unreal Tourny it's annoying.. Players bounce around excessively.. Not the smooth realistic motion like in DMZ...

Doesn't look like there is any heartbeat sensors. That really sucks..

There is no AI, so that's a plus. Operator kills don't seem to get you any points beyond stealing their cash.. I got a few kills so I didn't feel totally worthless..

All in all, it's not bad... I will likely give it some more play time to check out the CHOPPER/C-4 tactic. If that works like it did in Verdansk and Caldera, then I will likely stick with it..

Just wish they would offer SOLO Plunder.. I know I would be able to kick ass in that..

I only played one round so far, but found the overhead markers over enemy heads to be too small and I use a 65inch screen.
Got 2nd place with 2 kills with my random squad.
There's no more overkill perk as you can just load whatever you want.

Yea, it's going to take some getting used to...

I also played a game of DMZ and their Tier 2 AI was severely buffed up... They are almost operator level skills..

So, I might stick with PLUNDER for a bit...

Hay Carlos.. You think we'll EVER see PLUNDER SOLOs available??

So the match time is 20mins yet respawn times are still the same as they were before. So you waste too much time waiting to spawn for a short match.
As of this post, there's a crossplay issue. Battlenet can only play with battlenet.

Turns out there IS a HBS in the game..

But you can't deploy with it.. You have to find it..

Also, kicking of UAVs cost ya 15k...
