Is MW3 that different to Black Ops?

The question was been tossed around alot lately and i wanted to know what everyone thought about it.

I never really played black ops before MW3 but have gone in and played after and I think so..

I played a little bit of Black Ops, but not enough to notice the difference in multiplayer. However, from what I have played of both, I think they do play a bit different.

several bits are kinda the same including the multiplayer( though it isn't fully copied) the only different part about multiplayer is that instead of a tomahawk you get a throwing knife and instead of buying your weapons or weapon upgrades you have to earn them by completed certain challenges or by doing a specefic thing which is the same system that they use in mw1 and 2.
