How do you like the game so far? I haven't bought it yet, but I am planning to get it soon enough, when I get more RAM, because I can't run it yet. However, how good is this Call of Duty compared to the previous ones? Also, do you think the exo-suit is a good thing, or not? Would you like it removed, or do you think it should stay in the game? Do you think this game is worth the price? Also, what rank are you, guys?

Yes, I think it is. I hated Ghosts and Modern Warfare 3, but I'm really enjoying Advanced Warfare. I really think Sledgehammer did a terrific job with this one. They definitely showed improvement all around since Modern Warfare 3. There's classic modes if you don't like the space jump and exo abilities as well which was a smart idea on Sledgehammer's part as some may prefer the traditional CoD style of gameplay. It's still fast paced, heart pounding action and I think the changes they made really make it a unique Call of Duty experience. It really does not feel or play like just a traditional CoD reskin like previous games felt.

Ah, nice. The classic mode seems quite reasonable. Not all players would enjoy the exo-suit. I kind of don't like the idea so much of the exo-suit. They have turned the game a bit too futuristic and, from the game-play videos that I have watched, it seemed like everyone was jumping up and down like it's quake 3 with low gravity, or something.

I think it's just good genuine fun. I don't take it as seriously as I take the other CoD, but it's got almost an arcadey feel like Titanfall does. I can't really put my finger on it, but there's something that just makes it fun rather than serious.

In short, yes I think it is a good game. To elaborate, I think it is the first truly "next gen" looking game, not only of the call of duty franchise but also just in general. It's 60 frames per second combined with it's glorious shaders and the sheer amount of things happening on screen being rendered launches the franchise into the next generation. The campaign is (in my opinion) the most gripping so far, I'm not sure if it's because of Kevin Spacey or the time setting, the general plot, or a combination of all those things, but I love it. The exo suit is used selectively but it offers a logical way to add extra functions and abilities.

You know, strictly gameplay-wise the game is perfect, I love how it plays so much more than all the other previous games, but it doesn't have any dedicated servers, which is such a huge dealbreaker for people. I've had pings of 200ms sometimes and it's really messing up my games.

Well, it does look a bit nicer, graphic wise, than the previous games, but it doesn't look like such a big improvement to me. It looks like it could be fun for some time, but nothing I want to spend 60€ on. Bad thing with CoD games is that they never go on a sale for more than 50% off, never. If CoD4 is to go on sale now, it would still be around 15€. Ridiculous. Anyhow, yeah I hate that there were no dedicated servers in Modern Warfare 2, for example. Finding games was so hard.

I'm not sure about it being a deal breaker, but certainly it's an issue. I'm hoping that they can fix this. The game is becoming quite popular, both critically and in terms of the amount of people playing, so logically speaking this isn't a problem they can afford to ignore. Especially if they plan to release multiplayer DLC, which let's be honest, this is CoD, of course they do.

Yeah but, for example, if you are like me and like buying games on discounts, this will be a problem. Because CoD almost NEVER gets good discounts, they usually discount all their games 50% off max. CoD 2 was 50% off last sale. Seriously? This game is what, 10-15 years old? Ridiculous. But for example, I'm not planning to buy the game this year, but maybe I buy it down the line in 3 years, and I try to play multi and it's just dead, because there are not enough players to start a match.

In my opinion Advanced Warfare is great. It has been the biggest change since the first Modern Warfare, and I hope Sledgehammer can keep up the good work. There's even a zombie mode coming, which is more you can say for Activision support for their games. Advanced Warfare looks much better than Ghosts, plays much better, and feels a lot like Titanfall, which I like. All the guns feel and sound powerful, as if they are tangible, deadly weapons.

It's a deal breaker for me at least, I can't play a game if it's ping is above 30 ms, it's hard to find a game below 100 ping with he p2p matching instead of just having dedicated servers, or servers the players can host themselves.

I feel for you. before this year I sort of took a very long break from Call of Duty (and FPS' in general) and recently started to get back into them with CoD. I bought Black Ops one in January for eight dollars from a second hand store (like new condition) it even came with a code to download all the dlc, and the multiplayer was still very much booming, I had no problem matchmaking. So granted you have a problem, maybe second hand could be a solution?

Well, the Black Ops isn't a problem as far as PC version goes. They added servers in the PC version and that means it can almost never die enough to the point that you are trying to find a game for 20 minutes. This has happened to me with Modern Warfare 2. I would be finding a game for 5 minutes, and then I'd get into a hacked lobby. The matchmaking for the consoles seems a lot better, but if you're going to release a PC version of the game, please, add the dedicated servers. It's so much better. Also, Black Ops was a good game.

Ugh, MW2, really a terrible game, I went through with my boycott for that game, IW really treats the PC like crap. Black Ops is really good on the PC though, fantastic port as far as I can tell, but it's not a very good looking game either.
