I'm a little lost

I was in a party of two and my mic was working and I could hear the other party. Joined a three person party and I couldn't hear them I could see the volume icon and their name pop up showing they were talking. My icon wasn't showing up. We checked my settings in game and on PS5 nothing looked wrong. I had to start a PlayStation party for it to work. Next day my mic still isn't working on MW so I try another game that uses Invoice chat. It showed I was muted. I checked the in-game settings and it was all good. So I get on a PS5 forum and they tell me it has to be the game. I'm so lost. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and I checked with Activision I am not banned. Voice chat is on proxy chat is on I'm not muted in my channel.

The chatbox in Call of Duty games since MWII has had a system of an A.I. watching you chat. So, if your friends has been shadowbanned for saying stupid shit ...YOU won't hear them. If you say stupid shit. THEY can't hear you.

Chat on Call of Duty is cooked. Its basically socialism.

So, if you want to talk with your friends, either use the PSN group chat, or Discord.
