I am a mom and I play COD

Yes, I do, and I love it. My son introduced me to this amazing game 2 years ago and I was hooked. I play online with my hubby while he is at work and even the old games. I'm a young mom, so hey, it's not THAT gross. lol

I wish it was just you - not that I'm wishing you're single, but I can't wait until it's no surprise girls get into these games themselves. Does the misogyny of the online community still deter you?

It does. Sometimes it feels like a girl's perspective is less than adequate. I just love the game. I don't strive to be a professional gamer or anticipate in-depth convos I can't keep up with. However, I will have a blast playing and I think my opinion would matter, even if it's over shadowed by the gaming gurus.

You are the purest gamer there is these days. You can forget about k/d ratios and just have fun. You have your own opinion that is not changed by any gaming news publications. I hope you'll be this way for a long time.

Oh ok. Welcome to the club. I wonder how you bond with your kids. It must be awesome you understand their comfort zones.
