How did you guys react to Captain Price's "death" and how the game ended?

It was quite a shock, actually. Really neat and unique idea at the time - and hell, making that last and final shot really felt great and dramatic. It's sad that it's been done to death now these days, thus it lsot some of its appeal. But at the time? Great ending,
