GAME CHANGING Warzone Graphic Settings Combined with 3 Essential NVIDIA Filters; Must Try

Great video, I will try some of these settings on Cold War.

You talked about how your CPU was limited by your GPU in the video.

What is it the your experiencing that has led you to this conclusion?

I was under the impression that a 12 core/24 thread CPU would be amazing when matched with an RTX 3080.

Thanks man!

Might need to tweak a few settings here and there.

I honestly thought combining 3900x with 3080 would make a beast of a machine producing at least 240 fps in Warzone, which is why I went ahead and got myself a 240hz 1440p monitor prior to getting the PC parts. From my understanding and many who suffer from these low frames, Warzone is very heavily CPU dependent (which explains why Im getting the same frames with my 3080 as I did with 2070S).

For some reason the game does not utilize all 12 cores, not even 10. That conclusion was made when another player with 8 core Ryzen and 2070S was getting the same frames as me at the time (2070S/3900x)

Now, there is a solution for this issue, which would require me upgrading my hardware to zen 3 tech (5000 series Ryzen). The solution was introduced by the new AMD GPU 6900xt. This GPU has SAM tech (Smart Access Memory) which allows for information from CPU to travel in packets rather than individual pieces of information, thus allowing the GPU to produce significantly more frames. The live test I saw with 5950x and 6900xt showed 220-230 FPS downtown in Warzone, which is insane!

Since the AMD made their announcement about their SAM tech, somehow "miraculously" NVIDIA introduced their "resizable bar" discovery allowing essentially to do what that SAM tech on AMD cards does. However, it once again requires zen 3 CPUs, even though zen 2 architecture is fully compatible for resizable bar tech. My guess this was done for marketing purposes to push out their new line of CPUs.

I apologize for an essay of a reply. I just spend many weeks learning and testing different solutions which resulted in no success.

Resizable BAR is neither an AMD or an nVidia technology, it is part of the PCIe specifications, AMD were the first to introduce it to consumer technology so that's why people think they created it.

I think Cold War is optimised for either 4 or 6 cores and didn't make use of additional cores beyond that.

On a Ryzen 5 3600 I get mid 100s for FPS mostly, and CPU and GPU frame rates match well, as you may have seen in my recent video.

Where the RTX 3080 should win over the 3070 is being able to match the frame rates but at higher quality settings.

Also you should experience lower input lag which is aguably more important than frame rates.

Yeah I agree with you. Hence why my render reso is up to 3200 by 1800. Im not able to see cleared without losing any frames.

My input lag near non-existent, as far as I know that is lol.

If there is no solution for this "low" FPS issue by the end of the year, I might go for the new line of CPUs or maybe even build another rig for gaming and keep this one for streaming.

Cheers man! Ill check it out tonight
OMG!! I just watched it, the whole thing is a prank video, he makes 5 suggestions, the first 2 look believable but as he went on, the video started to make less sense with each new suggestion until he gets to the end and reveals that it is all a joke.

LMAO! I wish I saw your comment before watching this... RIP xD

Ive seen his videos previously and he was one of the first people to talk sht about warzone's optimization. He is pretty smart when it comes to tech, which is why it was so unexpected to see him troll like that lmao

Just coming back to this post, if your monitor supports G-Sync or FreeSync adaptive sync technologies, then once your output frame rate exceed the maximum refresh rate of the monitor G-Sync or FreeSync will be disabled as your monitor will not be able to keep up with your GPU.

Just crank up the settings and enjoy a super gaming experience that a 2070 Super can only wish for.

Precisely! I got G-sync enabled because I hate screen tearing and I notice 0 negative impact on frames. On top of that I just found out that amplifying your render resolution in Warzone is directly related to how far you can see enemies, which is kind of dumb, because it seems as if the game was written in 4k and any lower resolution deprives you of necessary intel you may need to be most competitive.

I tried cranking mine up to 200% and its insane how far I could see!!! Mind you though I dropped below 100 FPS so definitely not the best idea haha
