Call of Duty Release date

So what are your plans for the Call of Duty launch day? Have you picked up the Digital edition for early release? Are you buying it from the store and queuing with friends? Are you have a double XP Marathon? Let us know!

I am planning on going to Call of Duty launch day since I usually go every year. I am going to get it at the store since I love playing at the tournaments when the game comes out in store. I have a rival I usually go against every year.

I'm going digital. No waiting in a line for me. I want it quick and easy. I am so ready to play the game and see if it will live up to all the hype it has been generating. It looks as though Activision is actually putting a lot into this release and is pretty confident the community will love it. I hope they are right.

I'm going digital, but most likely waiting a bit until I'm buying it so I can read some (hopefully) non-hyped reviews. I think a week should be enough waiting, because if the game is good, I can't wait to play some (once again, hopefully) good CoD.

I'll probably be picking it up on Monday after work with the whole 'Day Zero' thing. Other than that, nothing special planned.

I'm either getting it on release day or within the first week of relase. I don't have any special plans besides playing until I'm sick of the game, If my experience with every other non-Ghosts CoD game is any indication, that will happen sometime in the next year or two. I might get together with some friends and face off with them.

i'm going to have to wait until Christmas because I've ran out of money for the next month. I guess it's going to be on winter sale on Steam so I'll probably be picking it up then. It's too bad because I'm quite excited for the game but I just can't afford it right away.

I'm definitely going digital, my PC doesn't even have a CD drive and I get all my content online, far easier and less hassle messing around with discs. I'll probably get it on launch day but I'm certainly not getting the season pass until I see what kind of DLC they're going with, if it's just an extra couple of maps I doubt I'll get the season pass. But if the game includes zombies, I'll probably get the season pass once it's confirmed.

all digital. tired of having to get up to put new disc in the xb1. so much easier to just go "Xbox go to call of duty"

I don't know if i'll have it on release day, but should have it by december.

Digital Pro version is already purchased and pre-loaded onto my XB1. So looking forward to the game this year.

I think I'll make a pre-order. I shall call all my friends at my place for the night, I will buy a lot of energy drinks, snacks and instant coffee and then we shall have the night of our lives .

Lining up for the midnight release at my local GameStop...Atlas Pro edition.

"Midnight" is West Coast time....so for me, that's 3am. I'm not waiting an extra 3 hours to start playing

Actually, when they announced that the release time was going to be 12am EST now...I ran to GameStop, cancelled my order, and will be doin' my first digital download
