Crashing since season 2 alot ( battle net )

Hello all, new to the forum thought id register as i cant figure this issue i am having out. Since season 2 has hit my game is starting to crash alot. Happend on the first day it came out, on for a win in warzone actually and crashed before the end.

Since then i cant complete a match at all in either MP or Warzone. I decided to totally reinstall windows 10 pro update everything and re download the game also. I seem to get direct X error ( game_ship.exe ) mainly but i have seen another error but ive forgotten what that said in frustration really.

I have followed pretty much everything i can think of to get this to work, all the known youtube guides and general posts you see. Also tried to play it on another direct x version to no success also which you can change via battle net.

System specs if needed are.

Cpu: 7950x Ram: 32 gig 6000mhz Gpu: Nvidia 3070 MB: Asus x670e Plus

Graphics drivers ive ran many different versions, and right now i am on 528.02 which i heard was stable. Direct X up to date, bios on the latest version.

This has be stumped really, some what stable before this season two update and now this ha. Any help would be most welcome.

A couple of things that I might suggest is to make sure that your motherboard bios is up to date. You could also download Asus Armoury Crate HERE and once installed look for the little tool button on the left hand side which will open up a section that will look and see if you are missing any drivers and such.

A good starting point if nothing else.

and alot of people have had same error including me so it is not your windows or your hardware. i have tried just about everything suggested online. and now i have not locked up in a couple weeks i dont know why. theres been some updates and i updated my bios. so why it has not froze up lately i dont know. good luck and i hope it stops.

Asus armouy crate installed already and fully updated driver wise, bios upto date also. Just odd how it was fairly stable season 1 now this.

Yeah it would seem its just a pretty poor game, i have not had this level of trouble before with a game. When VG was released it happened a few times then but was patched i think and stopped.

vanguard campaign was locking up on me but not multiplayer, have not played vg in awhile so dont know what it will do.

Just tried mw19 and it also crashes in that lol. But for some reason, i cant see the error in that game. It simply crashes you hear the error noise but you cant see it.

Update, i think ive fixed it. So i went into bios and was looking at my ram. Id set this to the advertised speed 6000mhz ages ago. Knocked this back to default which is 4800mhz. Went back into mw2019 ground war completed a game. Fired up mw2 warzone finished two games and won a game no issues.

It means i have ram which is not optimised for am5 it seems. So that will go back in time for sure.
I will continue to monitor this of course. But thats major improvement over what i was getting before.
