I mean, I see the point that it's annoying as hell..

But, in all honesty, I have to admit, I do that.. I have a bunch of choice spots picked out on each map where I can set up an ambush...

But when it happens to me, I am pissed off as all holy hell..

Well sorry you feel that way. I play CTF only! I am defense player ONLY! I am not a run and gun player and never will be. I have been playing defence since 1998 starting The Tribes franchise, Unreal Tournament franchise, Quake franchise and the Halo franchise. So call me a Camper I could care less. If people don't like it, well I guess they will get over it lol.

You don't understand. The difference between the guy using flash, C4, Rockets, etc. and the person sitting in the corner with a thumb up his ass, is that it takes a lot of skill to pull off some of those moves, while a camper sits and does.... Nothing. Unless, you're that "Camper Geographic" guy.

In Vacant, he moves around a lot. Not your typical camper. He does the same in Piccadilly. In general though, most campers are in the category of the original Camper Geographic...

I guess the definition of camper has changed alot in the last 13 or so years. Someone that's sits and does nothing but wait is trash. If you make an effort to move from your spot while PTFO, then that's fine.

Oh, welp I can't watch the video at work so I'll take your word for it. It really doesn't bother me either way. If there's a problem, there's a way to deal with it. If it's that upsetting, there's a leave game option. It's just a game, I used to care but as I got older I learned that not of this stuff matters.

I think people do that sometimes though because of all the camping snipers....

I mean, some matches you literally can't seem to move without getting sniped. It's gets very frustrating. In those matches, I will often just park somewhere and hope I can give somebody as much irritation on the other team as I'm getting lol.

Most times though, I'm lucky to get a kill or two because the other team isn't moving anyways lol.

No, it's got times worse now and it has actually made me not want to play it anymore. Activision is supporting camping now and that is so sad. It was overwhelming apparent when they took dead silence out as a perk. If they change that I might play again but if not, oh well it was a fun game.

Hey maybe all the run and gun people with actual skills will all leave COD for good and it'll just be the campers! Now that would be an exciting game to watch! (Campers: "where is everyone?"... I'm bored....")

I would also point out that, with all the prevalent hacks and cheats (Aimbots, Armor hacks, etc etc) in a game, tactical ambush is the ONLY thing left for people who can't spray and pray....

I mean, what's the sense in putting yerself out there only to get killed by one shot by a guy running with a sniper rifle and "aiming" on the run?? A player who can point to any point in the map and get a kill automagically....

Just played a couple matches and it's amazing... Some of the bigger maps like RAMMAZA and ARKLOV are becoming just like SHIPMENT and RUST...

NO TACTICS whatsoever... Just runnin' and gunnin' and sprayin' and prayin'...

It takes a lot more tactical sense to set up ambushes, compute avenues of ingress and create corridors to heard the enemy and zones of fire to nail them....

That is tactics..

Take notice of some of the bigger maps and see if I am not dead on ballz accurate... Just everybody running around and blasting anything that moves and a lot that doesn't...
