Someone please explain!!

I have a PS4. Why is it that after EVERYTIME COD forces us to update the game and after extremely long download times the game freezes?? Then I have to completely delete everything COD and reinstall. We all know how long that takes. So it's usually about two days before I can play again. I'm sick of to the point where it's not worth going through this EVERY SINGLE TIME! Yes, EVERY TIME! Yes, this only happens with COD. Yes, I've tried restarting the game and my system plus other things. I'm very annoyed. Please help!
