Why not take a minute to Cheers everybody, I tried to find an existing topic to help me out here but couldn't do so - hopefully you can help:
So, I've played CoD 1, 2 and MW. Now, having a PS5, I thought it would be a nice idea to play some good old COD Couch Coop missions with my wife.
I'll spare you to talk about the miserable attempts of mine to dial through the menus and tons of updates, confusing battle pass stuff etc...
My main question is: Is there a possibility to play CoD on split screen like a couch coop mode? I do not have a PS Plus account - but it seems that every kind of multiplayer I choose needs a running PS Plus account or some Activision account.
After 1 hour of frustration, we finally found a way to go to offline mode and start a local multiplayer with bots. Guess what - it crashed every match after about 2-5 minutes in game. So that's not working as well. We wanted to play some missions anyways...
I'm a casual player, far from professional, but I've been playing for about 25+ years now (PC, consoles..) and never had such an annoying and confusing experience to start off with, after buying a full price game. :/ Did I oversee something? Can anybody enlighten me and my wife how to get to a functioning Coop experience?
