Hey guys,
I could not find the information i need anywhere, so maybe you guys can help me :)
I am a small TikTok-Creator and I make Warzone-Compilations.

My Questions:
1. May I use the gameplay on TikTok/Youtube without worrying of Copyright-Strikes or any legal consequences?
2. May I use the TikTok-Ad-Program to boost my viewer-numbers and clicks? (Basically its a program implemented in TikTok, which you can use to generate more viewers and clicks. You pay so that the video is shown to more TikTok-Viewers. I dont get any cent, I have to pay for it and everybody can see the clips for free.)
3. Is there any license I need?

Maybe there is someone out there, who knows about this. I already contacted the Activision support but they could not help me.

Thank you very much !!
Jay

It's not so much a "license" is required at tiktok. That site is owned, operated, and directed by CCP. Look it up. I'm not going to spell out the name of the country. Tiktok is owned by ByteDance. The CCP doesn't care to adhere to United States law. There is currently a cold war as we speak. Moreover, they are tracking you. Yes. They are. Go look it up.

You can make money from Tiktok, but you need to be a part of their YouTube-style partner program. There are sponsors, but not on the same scale as YouTube. Most sponsors on Tiktok are brands from CCP's mainland businesses.

However, streaming, uploading gameplay to YouTube is different. It sometimes requires a "license" to use the background music, etc. But Activision doesn't really care too much about you streaming or uploading videos about their games. Yes, really. Just as LONG.... AS LONG as you DON'T leak anything out of Activision. If you leak information about Activision's games - they can send you cease and desist letters, they can sue you, they can DMCA takedown your video(s), they can squeeze YouTube to take down your video, they can report your video to YouTube, etc. Most of the time, the leaks is demonetized, taken down or the extreme case: C&D or lawsuit. So, recap: STAY AWAY FROM LEAKS, AND RUMORS. It's not worth it.

Do not use the country's name in this thread. This applies to EVERYONE. Thanks.

This post assumes you're from United States, but you're from Germany. Pfft.
