Compatibility Issue?? B450M BAZOOKA MAX WIFI & AMD Ryzen 5 5500 6-Core 3.6GHz Socket AM4 65W CPU

I am finally getting around to building that GAMER at work.. So much for having it for the Xmas rush, eh??

Anyways, I know the memory and the Video Card (RTX 2060) and the motherboard works..

So I got an AMD CPU from NewEgg... But I don't get past the CPU POST on the MB...

EZ DEBUG:



When I tested the MB before with a different CPU, the CPU LED would light then go dark, the DRAM LED would light and then go dark, the VGA, BOOT etc etc and then the MB would boot..

With this CPU, I get a solid WHITE LED on CPU and that's it..

I can't imagine I got a bum CPU so the only thing I can think is it's an incompatibility issue..
