Bruen Mk9 Challenge

There appears to be no rhyme or reason to this challenge. I've spent a couple hours this morning in HC shoot/ship throwing smoke with a PKM racking up kills of all sorts.

I've tried both me and enemy in the smoke. Me in the smoke only. Enemy in the smoke only. Match after match after match. I've only registered 4 of 15 matches completed. No idea how to complete this other than dumb luck.

Also, what've shit show. Shipment is like a map of smoke. Last couple rounds has been PKM with 200 round belts just blindly firing in all smoke filled directions.

Either the devs are secretly watching and laughing their asses off, or they are a bunch of retards. This is the dumbest thing I've ever done in this game other than play warzone.

Hello init6,

I agree that this challenge was a major pain, but I actually ended up unlocking the LMG after figuring out what to do. You and the enemy have to be in the SAME smoke cloud for the kill to count. I recommend throwing your smoke grenade in the center of the map just just holding down hip fire. You're almost guaranteed to get 3 kills every match. Don't even bother trying to ADS or use thermal sights. I also used the PKM with the 200 round belt, but I set it up to give it the best hip-fire capabilities possible.

It took me close to three hours in total, but it actually wasn't quite as bad of a challenge as I thought it was going to be. Had they not brought back shoot the ship, then it definitely would've been impossible. The challenge is absolutely doable, just know that you'll be in for a bit of a long haul. If you want my advice, just listen to a podcast or something nice to listen to while you're completing the challenge. It makes it much more palatable.

This seems to be working. 6 straight shipment matches, 6 straight matches counted.

I do, however, recommend core mode and not hardcore. First hardcore match I got 20 kills and like 60 deaths from killing my own teammates. Lmao

Update.. challenge finished. The stupidest challenge I've done so far. I kept apologizing to everyone for the spray and pray. Smoke everywhere. Constant sound of an unsuppressed machine gun. Bleh.

Couple of matches I was #1 on the board. Lmao
