Activating Tac Stance Needs Rework

Potshot

Recruit
Tac Stance is an interesting mechanic, but in its current implementation, I feel it is setup wrong. Let me explain:

The beauty of hip fire is that you don't have to ADS. It takes time to ADS, and at close range, you can be shot before you get into full ADS - that's why people use hip fire. Tac Stance is an improvement over hip fire, but you have to ADS+ to activate it, which defeats the purpose of having an alternative to ADS. Tac Stance, when turned on, should replace hip fire, so that your gun is always in Tac Stance until you press the ADS button to aim. When Tac Stance is turned off, then all you should have is hip fire and ADS, as originally done. See below:

Tac Stance Off:
Fire Mode 1: Hip Fire
Fire Mode 2: ADS

Tac Stance On:
Fire Mode 1: Tac Stance
Fire Mode 2: ADS

Currently, the mechanic is setup up as follows:

Tac Stance off:
Fire Mode 1: Hip Fire
Fire Mode 2: ADS

Tac Stance On:
Fire Mode 1: Hip Fire
Fire Mode 2: Tac Stance (activated by ADS+)
Fire Mode 3: ADS

Bottom line is: if we have to ADS to activate Tac Stance, we are already dead. I'm interested in your thoughts on the subject, but please no insults or references to my mother. Thanks.

That’s a good idea.
